The Research and Development (R&D) office was established at Headquarters, Bahria University, Islamabad in February, 2010. R&D office is mandated to promote and strengthen the research culture in all disciplines of Bahria University to bring it at par with other institutions of higher learning within the country and abroad and maintain the highest standards of research by both students and faculty.
The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) of Bahria University has been officially notified by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan on October 7th, 2011. ORIC is an initiative of HEC aiming to introduce innovative ideas in research at higher education level along with the commercialization of research. ORIC will be responsible for assuring that the quality of research reflects the highest international standards and advances the stature of the university among the world’s best research institutions.
